Lele Pons (Film producer, Actor, Television producer, Singer, Youtuber)

Lele Pons was born on June 25, 1996 in Caracas, Venezuela to Anna Maronese Pivetta, a pediatrician, and Luis Guillermo Pons Mendoza, an architect. She is of Italian and Venezuelan descent and is the niece of Puerto Rican singer Chayanne. At age five, her and her family moved to Miami, Florida where she was raised and attended Miami Country Day School. She graduated and moved to Los Angeles in 2015. Lele has expressed that she experienced bullying in high school due to being the "other girl" and getting "hurt to make them laugh."

Lele Pons began her career on video platform Vine. With a focus on her creative and comedic content, Pons found success and became the first "Viner" to reach one billion loops. Writing in The Cut, Allie Jones described Pons' comedy as "universal, physical, and complete with a twist ending". Pons credits a number of Latin American female stars such as Sofía Vergara, Gaby Espino, and Shakira for inspiring her comedic style. After being signed with entertainment company Shots Studios, Pons has used her success to launch a jewelry collection, co-author a novel, star in a romantic comedy, music videos, appear in MTV's horror series Scream and host La Voz... México.

In 2021, Pons was a brand ambassador for CoverGirl, walked in a Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan, released her debut single, "Dicen" with Matt Hunter, released her English-language debut single with Jake Owen, and released the first episode of Best Kept Secrets with Lele Pons, a podcast on Spotify. Pons was a guest speaker at the 2020 CES conference and also received the Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization’s Influencer Pioneer Award at the United Nations in 2022 in recognition of her pioneering efforts. She competed in season four of ¿Quién es la máscara? as "Pulpo" and season nine of The Masked Singer as "Jackalope".
