Steve Jobs

Steven Jobs was an American entrepreneur, business magnate, industrial designer, media proprietor, investor and co-founder of Apple who revolutionized the personal computer industry in the 1970s and 1980s. After traveling to India in 1974 to study Zen Buddhism and co-founding Apple with Steve Wozniak, Jobs went on to found NeXT. Jobs returned to Apple as CEO in 1997, reviving the company, and introducing new products such as the Apple Store, App Store, iMac, iPad, iPod, iPhone, iTunes, and iTunes Store. In 2003, he was diagnosed with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor before eventually passing away due to respiratory arrest in 2011. In 2022, he was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
